Updated: Jan 12, 2023

Can you imagine travelling around the world on a private jet and staying exclusively in Aman properties? Well this dream experience can now be a reality thanks to an incredible partnership with ultra-luxury hotel brand Aman and Remote Lands. Travelling on one of Aman’s Airbus ACJ319’s you will be whisked around the world with no more than 18 other privileged, like-minded adventurers.

The Grandest Tour showcases eight amazing Aman properties in Japan, Laos, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Turkey and Greece, in just one journey. This 21-night continent-spanning adventure is the most extravagant Aman Jet Expedition to date with a new day touchdown at the Taj Mahal introduced for 2023, complementing an already stellar lineup of experiences. These include sumo lessons and alms-giving in Japan and Laos respectively, hiking to the sublime Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan, and exploring the origins of Western civilization in the Mediterranean.

Your tour will begin in the fascinating city of Tokyo. The small group will be together onboard the jet, for special dinner parties, and an exclusive private yacht excursion. You will have your own private car, guide and driver for all airport transfers and touring each day.

From Japan to Greece - All the small details are taken care of. Just sit back and enjoy the ride in unparalleled sophisticated comfort.

Your journey begins in Tokyo, with three full days to experience the best of its culture, shopping, and culinary delights. Your suite high above the city of Tokyo in the infamous Otemachi Tower is only a short stroll to the Imperial Palace Gardens. You will find yourself wandering the cobbled streets with incredible views of Mount Fuji or see the city through the eyes of an art expert, enjoy a dinner at the prestigious ryotei Tsuranaka accompanied by authentic performances from Tokyo’s most accomplished geisha…your choices are limitless.

Then it will be time to experience a first-class, one-and-a-half-hour, fabulous ride replete with wonderful views of the Japanese countryside on a bullet train to Nagoya, Japan. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming streets of Shikimichi, dating back to the 1600s and designated by the city as a historic conservation district.

Visit Nagoya Castle or Endoji - Nagoya’s oldest shopping street and then it’s time for lunch and a short helicopter trip to Amanemu where you will spend the next two nights. Amanemu, on Ago Bay is a sanctuary for restorative peace. Wander along the coastline famous for its floating pearl farms and female divers, hike through the ancient pilgrim trails or just relax and enjoy an afternoon in the onsen pools rich in healing minerals from a nearby hot spring.

Next up, is Luang Prabang, in Northern Laos with two days immersed in the local lives of the people of Luang Prabang and its ancient Buddhist rituals and colonial past. Luang Prabang, the perfectly preserved town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Amantaka - your home for the next two days sits in the centre of this remarkably beautiful city.

As you stroll through the city that sits between the Mekong and the Khan Rivers, you will be transported back to a time when life was simpler, slower, and perhaps more at peace. Visiting the Royal Palace - just a short stroll from Amantaka, Wat Mai and Wat Phanphao, and the Hmong Night Market with its colourful artisan shops or floating along the mighty Mekong you cannot help but feel the transformation that comes from the people and the culture of Laos.

Next stop, Anampuri, Phuket where you can wind down after sensory overload in Cambodia. Overlooking private Pansea Beach, Anampuri is your secluded home for the next two days. You can enjoy the warm waters of Southern Thailand and all the unique dining venues Anampuri has to offer including a gorgeous lunch served onboard your private yacht as you cruise Phang Nga Bay.

Time to leave the sea and head to the Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan. At the Eastern edge of the Himalayas, you will find yourself immersed in history, culture, and wellness as you explore the capital, Thimphu. Here your private driver and guide will create an itinerary tailored just for you. Visit the museums, the monasteries, the markets, the spas…your choices, your schedule, your privileged access.

From Bhutan you are on your way to Amanbagh, Alwar, India. Few luxury resorts are found in a more serene setting than Amanbagh, nestled within the former hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Alwar. You are only a short walk or camel ride from the century’s old village, fort and temple of Ajabgarh.

The palatial elegance and tranquility of Amanbagh is a perfect base where you will experience the benefits of Aryuveda, the ancient secrets of Indian cuisine, practice yoga in the enchanting gardens or enjoy a short sail on Mansarover Lake.

It is now time to leave Asia and fly to Bodrum, Türkiye and the Amanruya, a secluded retreat nestled between the Aegean Sea and the ancient pine forests of Bodrum Peninsula. Here, with your own private stone villa incorporating both Mediterranean and Turkisk architecture, gorgeous views of the Aegean and your private swimming pool, life will simply feel serene.

If the mood strikes you might like to board the Amanruya’s 40-foot yacht for a sunset cruise. If you care to explore your choices are endless from visiting local villages and their artisans, to culinary delights at local vineyards or the ancient cultural sites. As always this is your time, and you will set the pace.

The final flight on your Grandest Tour takes you to the Peloponnese countryside in the southernmost part of mainland Greece where the Amanzoe will be your home for the next two days replete with spectacular views of olive groves and the Aegean coastline.

Enjoy the vistas of Greece on a private yacht, have a fabulous dinner enjoying the vistas, relax at the gorgeous beach club or venture further and explore Athens. Your time…your choices.
